synesthesia

crème brûlée with blackberries and shavings of chocolate in a rocky trickling stream of clear cool fresh bedsheets just before May dawn
Everyone should start off the week with a joyous sensational mix-up. Throw some sensations together and evoke your happy place.
Do it.
Now.
Because I said so.
Happy Monday, loves.

Um, I have that, y'know. Not clinically diagnosed, but all the research matches the symptoms. My wife is just glad to know that other people have it and I am not just crazy. . . . well, not because I incessantly count, and have weird shape and number associations to people. Not with tastes though. That would be nice. . . . see a cloud and taste creme brulee, see a hot chick and taste cinnamon (think about it, what other spice fits a woman? There you go, cinnamon it is). I guess it could have a downside. See an apple, taste lemons. . . see chocolate cake and taste liver and onions.

So weird to come across this...I have it too, but wasn't aware until a few years ago that not everyone thought chicken tasted pointy or that Wednesday was blue.
Love the photo!
