Some presents can't be wrapped.

I will write a poem tonight,
I think. Words begin to float.
I will write a poem tonight.
I think of you. Whispers from the sky.
I will write a poem. Tonight
I think of you and whisper words to the sky.
I will write. A poem tonight
I think will float to you,
unwrappable, like joy
unwrapped, like me.

Sensual, with a twist of charity. I like it. Happy Holidays, Jill.

Jill, Jill, Jill. If I've told you once I've told you a thousand times. . . . . I really like your writing. The pictures lead you to think "Nekkid?", but then you kinda get lulled by the sweet peotic jesture (I know it is misspelled - I am implying a foolish attempt to divert my mind with words - silly girl, that doesn't work)
Ok, quick aside - can that be a new word? Jesture : To artfully, but foolishly attempt to direct someones thoughts contrary to their natural proclivities with words. verb?. . . . Ok, now back to our regularly scheduled comment
And as you travel down the page you slowly begin to ease away from the Nekkid before. . . BAM . . . there it is, "unwrapped" for us. Considering the "voyager" shot right at the bottom margin of the post, and the thought of Santa leaving you under the tree nekkid - though no self respecting Santa would give you up, especially unwrapped - tends to send one's mind off into the land of unrealized dreams, which is just next door to the island of misfit toys if you were curious. Anyway, I hope you get what you want for Christmas, twice . . . . . at least.
Much love for you Jill.

I don't know if I could sleep on Christmas Eve if I knew there would be a Jill waiting for me under my tree. (That almost rhymed.)
Merry Christmas, Jill

Wow.
I think that you wrote more than a poem - this could be a song.
Maybe M.A. could sing it?

When I first read this, I saw so many little words, and got lost in the pile. Then I re-read it without looking at all the little words. It's so much better that way.
Interesting how it starts tentatively, then gets surer and surer.
Hi Jills.

Jill unwrapped for Christmas? Well, that certainly would make the old elf jolly, wouldn't it? I'd think it would jingle someone's bells, at the very least.
I could keep the Christmas double-entendres going, but, well, it is the season to show kindness to our fellow man. And, thank you, Jill, for the kindness to show us nice pictures to keep us warm this season. Oh, the words are nice, too, BTW.

Happy holidays to you, too, Grunt!
Spiffy: I like that word! Good work. I was indeed wondering if it was near the island of misfit toys, as last year, I drunkenly promised Hermie that I'd be by to visit and throw back some more drinks with him. Love to you and yours, Spiffster.
And it had a nice rhythm to it, too, -J!
GSR, thanks! As you know, I was feeling quite musical last night. M.A. is welcome to sing it if she's inspired.
R2K, right back at ya. Welcome, by the way.
Hello, Peefers. That's pretty much how it happened, so I'm glad it transferred.
Geek, if the pictures are so distracting, perhaps I just ought to stick to words...? :P

"Float to you"? Going by sea I take it...
Buon Natale e Felice Anno Nuovo Jilly! Grazie per tutti.

Corey: Was there ice cream? Where? :P
CB: Perhaps going by sea... but not in the direction you're thinking.
Prego, cara mia. E anche a tu. xoxo
